Viable Cycling Accident Claims

Knowing what accidents you can claim compensation for is useful for cyclists all around the world.

You need to know when to be ready to start remembering information...you might even want to take a pen and paper out with you when you go cycling just in case you are involved in an incident.

Listed below are some of the injuries that you would be able to claim compensation for if they unfortunately happened to you.
  • A vehicle hits you from behind (or whilst overtaking)
  • HGV fails to see you and hits you
  • A car pulls out in to you from a side road
  • A car turns across your path
  • A car overtakes you and then turns left
  • Both a cyclist and motorist carrying straight on at a junction
  • A motorist moving into a cyclist's path
Keep these in mind when you are out on your bike, and be ready to take any notes on the accident. You may need to refer to them at a later date, or your solicitor may need to use them.
